- Essential Tips: Bring sturdy, broken-in walking shoes and dress in layers. Mountain temperatures in Imlil are significantly lower than in Marrakech, even during summer. A light jacket is highly recommended, especially for morning and late afternoon.
- Cultural Etiquette: As this is a traditional, close-knit Berber community, modest dress is highly appreciated. Asking permission before photographing locals or their private property is customary and very much appreciated.
